The Composition Method · Recompose your mind, body, and soul
You lead the room. So why don’t you feel at home in your own skin?
Six months of private coaching for executive women in the after years. We recompose your mind, your body, and your soul, so you show up whole, at peace with how you look, and unapologetically yourself. In the boardroom, at home, and in whatever you decide comes next.

The after years
Successful on paper. Unsettled underneath.
You’ve built the career, the family, the reputation. By every measure anyone else uses, you’ve made it. And still, something is off. Maybe it’s menopause. Maybe it’s weight that crept on while you were building everything else. Maybe it’s twenty years of being everything for everyone. Either way, the woman you see and the woman you know you are don’t match anymore.
- You walk into the boardroom prepared and polished, and still feel like you’re hiding something.
- You choose clothes to disappear in. You step out of the photo. You keep the camera off.
- You’ve done every plan there is. Your body changed, and the old rules quit working.
- You take care of everyone. Nobody asks how you are, and you’ve stopped asking yourself.
- You’re quietly wondering, “Is this it?” There’s a pivot, a business, a stage, a next chapter, and you don’t yet feel like the woman who takes it.
- You’re tired of apologizing. For your body, your ambition, your needs, the space you take up.
You don’t need another reset. You need a system for the after years, one that holds your mind, your body, and your soul.

The Composition Method
Not a smaller version of you. A whole one.
Most programs only work on the body, so the old beliefs come right back with the weight. We recompose all three, together.
Mind
The stories you’ve repeated about yourself for decades, the old identity, the habit of shrinking. We break up with them. What grows in their place is real confidence, in the boardroom, on camera, and in the decision to pivot.
Body
Strength training built for your body, schedule, and equipment, with protein and recovery at the center. Measured by body composition, energy, and strength, not the scale. So you can feel at peace with how you look and how you move.
Soul
Peace, purpose, and fulfillment. Knowing who you are when you’re not performing for anyone. Living unapologetically yourself, and building a life that feels complete from the inside, not just impressive from the outside.
What we work toward
- Peace with how you look. Getting dressed becomes a choice, not a negotiation.
- Confidence that shows up in the room. You speak, present, and take the photo without bracing for it.
- Clarity about what’s next. The pivot, the business, the stage, or simply a life that’s more yours.
- A body you trust. Stronger, with energy for the life you’re building, and proof of what’s actually changing.
- Fulfillment, not just achievement. Feeling complete, without apologizing for who you are.
Breaking up with self
How the six months work
Underneath the method is the framework I’ve lived: Discover. Deliver. Depend. Discipline. The order matters. Most plans start with discipline, and that’s why they don’t last. Discipline comes last on purpose. Once you know who you are, you’ve let go of the old version, and you’ve stopped carrying it alone, it stops being white-knuckling and becomes how you live.
-
Month 1 · Discover
Who are you now?
You’ve spent years building for everyone else. This month we find you again: what your body is actually doing, through your first body composition scan, and who you are underneath the titles and the roles. We also have the long conversation about what you tried before, what you decided about yourself when it didn’t work, and who you want to be next.
-
Month 2 · Deliver
Let go of the old version.
The old rules, the old story, the old way of measuring your worth. We name what’s no longer yours to carry and release it, including the apologizing. Most women end this month lighter, with less noise and more clarity than they’ve had in years.
-
Months 3–4 · Depend
Stop carrying it alone.
You’re used to doing everything yourself. Here you lean on structure and support instead. Progressive training blocks, a second scan at month three, messaging when a week goes sideways, and The Circle, where you hear from other women walking the same road.
-
Months 5–6 · Discipline
A practice, not a punishment.
Now discipline has something to stand on. Your training, your routines, and the way you talk to yourself become a daily rhythm you trust. Your final scan, your whole system written in your own words, and a plan for the next chapter, whatever you decide it is.
Breaking up with myself was the sacrifice. It’s also where everything changed.

Your coach
I’ve lived the after years.
I’m Erica L. Miller. I’m 50, I live in Baltimore, and I’ve spent twenty years as an enterprise data and AI architect. I know what it’s like to be the one with the answers in the room and still feel unsure of yourself when you leave it.
I’m also sixteen years past weight-loss surgery. I’ve lost weight, regained some of it, and rebuilt more than once, through divorce, menopause, and a demanding career. For years I was smaller, and still not whole. What finally changed wasn’t a new diet. It was breaking up with the old version of me, mind, body, and soul.
Today I lift four days a week and I’m still building. When you work with me, you work with me. I read every message and I’m the one in your corner when a week goes sideways.
I used to not recognize the woman in the mirror. Now I love her. I want that for you.

Book a Strategy SessionWho this isn’t for
Anyone who wants a meal plan instead of a system, or a specific number by a specific date. Anyone in active eating disorder treatment. Anyone unwilling to lift, or unwilling to look at the inside along with the outside. And if you’re in your first year after surgery, your surgical team should lead. Come find me after.
Questions
I’ve had weight-loss surgery, or I’m on a GLP-1. Is this for me?
Yes, and it stays between us. I’m sixteen years past surgery myself, so nothing you share will surprise me. We’ll build your plan to respect your care team’s guidance, and it’s never part of how you’re described to anyone.
Is this a weight-loss program?
Your body is one part of it. The other two are your mind and your soul: confidence, identity, peace, and what you want next. Many women do change their body composition, but the goal is a life you feel whole in, not a number.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching looks forward and builds action. If something comes up that needs a licensed therapist, I’ll tell you honestly and help you find the right support.
What does “breaking up with self” mean?
It’s the framework underneath my coaching: Discover who you are, be Delivered from the old version of you, learn to Depend instead of carrying everything alone, and then build Discipline that lasts. My faith shapes how I live it and how I coach. Sharing it isn’t required to work with me.
I’m thinking about a career pivot. Is this the right time?
It may be the best time. A lot of women come to me at exactly that crossroads. We build the confidence and the capacity for the next chapter alongside the body and the habits, so you’re not deciding from exhaustion.
How much time do I need each week?
Your workouts, plus a few minutes to send updates. The plan is built around the time you can actually protect, not an ideal week.
Do I need a gym?
No. Your programming is built for what you have, whether that’s a full gym, a few dumbbells, or bands in a hotel room.
I’m in perimenopause or menopause. Is this for me?
Yes. Many of the women I work with are. Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and we’ll plan around how you’re actually feeling.
What is The Circle?
A monthly small-group call with the other women in the practice. Your coaching stays private. The Circle is where you hear that you’re not the only one.
What happens in the Strategy Session?
A private 30-minute video call with me. We look at where you are, what’s been getting in the way, and what you want next, across mind, body, and soul. You’ll leave with a clear read on your next step, whether or not we work together. If it’s the right fit, I’ll walk you through how the six months work. If it isn’t, I’ll tell you, and point you to what will serve you better.
Why is the Strategy Session paid?
Because it’s real work, and because it lets me give every woman who books my full preparation. The $150 is credited in full if you join The Composition Method.
What if I need to stop?
After the first month, if it isn’t right, you can leave and pay only for what you used. There’s no performance guarantee, because nobody honest can offer one.
